Michael entered the financial services industry in 1988 and has since been dedicated to providing a personalized approach in order to help individuals, families, and businesses establish and fulfill their financial needs and goals.
He has obtained the nationally recognized designation of “CFP” (Certified Financial Planner) from the Financial Planners Standards Council as well as the “GBA” designation (Group Benefits Associate) from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. He is a past President of the Windsor Chapter of the Life Insurance Underwriters Association of Canada. Michael is passionate about upholding the Code of Ethics of these associations and takes tremendous pride in always putting his clients’ interests first and foremost.

Brianne O’Kane QAFP

Brianne joined O’Kane Financial Group in January of 2010 and is a valuable member of our team. In her capacity as our executive assistant, she is the primary go-to person for all of our clients. Her personable nature is evident in her friendly problem solving approach.
She is knowledgeable and extremely attentive, but perhaps Brianne’s greatest asset is the relationship she has formed with our clients. She has played a major role in helping to create the family atmosphere that surrounds our company.
Looking to further her ability to service your needs, Brianne has been licensed by the Financial Services Commission of Ontario since 2011. Brianne has also attained her QAFP designation in 2020.
Kara O’Kane
Administrative Assistant / Advisor
Kara joined O’Kane Financial Group in September of 2016. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from past endeavours which includes an internship at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Shen then went on to work with MAC Cosmetics as an Artist as well as an Executive Assistant, followed by her time with Smashbox Cosmetics as an Assistant Account Executive and Trainer. These experiences contributed to her management skills, ability to work creatively and independently in a variety of circumstances and environments.
In the time since joining our team, Kara has become licensed with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario as well as the province of Alberta. She looks forward to further developing her skills to serve the needs of our clients.
Kathy O’Kane
Manager / Office Administrator
Kathy joined O’Kane Financial Group in January of 2001. She is an integral team member providing administrative and management support. She is responsible for ensuring that all privacy and compliance aspects of our business are maintained and current. Having over 30 years of experience in the insurance and financial industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge to our team and, most importantly, our clients.
